Working with mid to senior management to enhance their confidence in interpersonal communication which gives managers and leaders confidence to communicate better – whether internally within the organisation or externally.
After a significant amount of time working in the field, we have found 3 main challenges which exist:
The challenge to assist with the pangs of self-doubt which creep in from time to time;
Clarity of messages which run generally hand-in-hand with the one above; and
The consistency of messages across the organisation; for an organisation to function cohesively from the leadership team down to all parts of the business, consistency of message and its timely delivery in a confident manner through all levels of the organisation are critical.
Internally –
upwards to the CEO or the board or downwards in their leadership communication, conflict management or motivating and leading others.
Externally –
representing the company – informally in meetings, formal presentations, pitches and along the continuum of influencing through to formal negotiation.

The progression of people on an interpersonal level where they feel comfortable and confident in their communication. This manifests itself either internally where they conduct themselves as leaders or externally with clients or customers. The internal communication on leaders could be a combination of communication with direct reports before one’s peer group, reports about or a combination of any or all of the above.
